Registration opens May 1 for La Mesa summer swim lessons

Registration will open for summer swim lessons in La Mesa on Monday, May 1 at 8 a.m. Learning how to swim and being water safe is a valuable life skill for everyone.

Class schedules can be seen online at cityoflamesa.us/register. Classes are designated by age and/or skill level.

Read class descriptions to ensure you are choosing the class that is the best fit.

Starbabies & StarTots: 6 months – 2 years

Preschool Swim School: 3 years – 5 years

Youth Swim School: 6 years – 13 years

Stroke Swim School: 6 years – 13 years (Must pass safety benchmark skills prior to class)

Adapted Aquatics: All ages (One-on-one instruction for those with special needs).

Monthly programs are currently underway at the pool. These include youth swim teams, youth water polo, adult water exercise, and adult/teen group lessons.

Registration for June and July will open on May 15.
