La Mesa’s 26th Flag Day Parade set for June 14
La Mesa will hold its 26th Flag Day Parade Saturday, June 14, beginning at 10 a.m.
The parade, which travels west through La Mesa Village along La Mesa Blvd., between Memorial and Acacia, features floats, marching bands, and local groups.
The grand marshals for the event will be:
* La Mesa Kiwanis Club
* La Mesa Lions Club
* La Mesa Optimist Club
* La Mesa Rotary Club
The La Mesa Community Relations and Veterans Commission will provide free ice cream bars at “The Lookout” at Legacy Park, corner of La Mesa Blvd., 4th St., & Allison Ave. (while supplies last).
