San Diego Santa Run fills Pacific Beach streets

The 12th annual San Diego Santa Run took place on Garnet Avenue in Pacific Beach on Saturday, Dec. 14, before the Holiday Parade. This year’s race featured two start times for the 5K – 8 a.m. and 10 a.m. – making it easier for the more than 7,000 ‘Santas’ to participate. From serious runners eager to race in the 5K to families looking for a fun holiday experience at the ‘Santa’s Elves’ Kids Run and ‘Santa’s Little Helper’ Doggie Dash events, the Santa Run offered something for everyone.
