Holiday lights and more take over the local scene

With the holidays here this month, don’t be surprised to see your share of lights, decorations and more locally.

Hanukkah ran from Dec. 7-15. Many locals took time out over a week to celebrate this important holiday on the Jewish calendar.

Christmas is next Monday and is an exciting day of the year for so many little ones and countless adults.

For those waiting on New Year’s Eve to celebrate or prepare to finish off a busy year, the day falls on the last Sunday in 2023.

Finally, kick off the New Year on Monday, Jan. 1. Parades, football, food, drink and more are a good way of welcoming in 2024.
