Day of the Dog set for Oct. 13

The largest festival for dogs in North America, The Day of the Dog, is taking over Voltaire Street between Cable and Bacon in Ocean Beach on Sunday, Oct. 13 from noon to 5 p.m.

This free, annual festival travels across North America celebrating all things canine with a day of unparalleled fun and entertainment for the whole family.

The Day of The Dog is a fundraiser for the Just Love Animals Society, a non-profit with a focus on community outreach and animal welfare.

With attendance of more than 10,000 animal lovers expected, the afternoon will feature an outrageous variety of fun and interactive dog activities and installations for all dogs, big, small and in-between.
